Timed for dusk
We timed the session for dusk. As the last light came through, it gave the images a soft, almost ethereal glow against the rock. I shot everything on a Sony A7 with a vintage, fully manual Voigtländer Nokton 50mm f/1.5, a lens with a character modern glass tends to smooth over.

What came next
Caroline was a joy to work with, and she's now at the University of Colorado.
